Small Victory Bakery

After I saw Rick Chung’s photos of Small Victory Bakery, I knew that I had to go check them out ASAP. During my finals, I’ve been hunting around Vancouver for nice and Skytrain convenient coffee shops to study in. Small Victory Bakery is a spacious bakery that recently opened in Yaletown serving home baked bread, sweet pastries and cakes. Other than the bakery goods, they also serve a variety of sandwiches, salads and beverages. With wooden and marble decor, Small Victory Bakery is a comfortable and modern space to study in or have a coffee with a friend.

I got there just in time for a good seat with a view of everything going on in their kitchen. The place smelled like fresh baked bread but the air conditioning was a bit too strong.

London Fog

I didn’t end up ordering anything to eat because I wanted to focus on my studies but I’m sure I’ll get some food whenever I return.

I was happy that there was no bitterness in this and overall, the London Fog was very creamy and earthy with the Earl Grey tea bag inside.

Since the air conditioning was blasting, my drink got cold really fast. If I drank it faster, I would have been able to enjoy it more.
