Weekend time is brunch time, and with the sun out, there’s no reason why you should be staying at home in Vancouver. You’ve probably walked by Catch 122 Cafe Bistro before and the next time you walk by around brunch hour, you might as well go in for something delicious.
Modern with a vintage feel from their red brick wall, Catch 122 has great customer service and the atmosphere is perfect for a comfortable brunch on the weekends or happy hour after an exhausting day of work.
Somewhere in the world, it’s time to drink. Brunch isn’t complete if you don’t have a mimosa.
I usually love it when mimosas have more than just sparkling wine and orange juice. Catch 122 added mango juice into their mimosa and it was very refreshing and sweeter.

What’s in it: Poached egg, smoked salmon, dill creme fraiche, rocket, croissant and Yukon potato hash.
Plenty of smoked salmon but I’m definitely not a fan of dill creme fraiche. The poached egg was lukewarm and one of the yolks wasn’t very runny.
The croissant was absolutely delightful – butter, flaky and slightly crispy.
